IPASeducation delivers both daily and longer-term investment alternatives while maintaining safety of principal, liquidity and competitive yields in accordance with Iowa Code Section 12B.10.

Liquid investments are placed in an SEC-registered money market fund in accordance with 17 C.F.R Section 270. 2a-7. For longer-term investments, IPASeducation administers the Fixed Term Automated (FTA) Program to allow for state-wide competitive bids.

IPASeducation provides ongoing investment education through our quarterly newsletter and webcasts. The newsletter includes our quarterly review of the economic markets, marketing updates and current articles of interest. Each webcast delivers an interactive internet-based outlook of issues impacting the economy and short-term rates. These are excellent tools designed to help you and other school officials handle your cash needs.

IPASonline^(TM), an internet-based accounting system, was established in 2000. This system provides for secure money movement between your pre-established local financial institution and your IPAS account(s). Vendor Pay was developed in 2004 to allow for easy, efficient direct payment, via ACH, to your vendors.
